Ryan Pilkinton LOD

One of our Directors, Gregory Piper (a former Dramaworkshop member himself) has recently appeared as RYAN PILKINGTON in BBC1’s LINE OF DUTY. Greg has played RYAN since he was just 13 years old. All series of LINE OF DUTY can be viewed on BBC iPlayer. The latest series is currently nominated for a National Television Award.

Rebecca - Beth Casey

One of our Directors Rebecca Fuller has just joined the cast of BBC RADIO 4’s THE ARCHERS as new regular BETH CASEY. Episodes can be heard weekdays MON – FRI on BBC RADIO 4 or anytime on BBC Sounds.

Ian Smith BAFDA Winner

In Summer 2019 we were fortunate to have the BAFTA winning workshop leader and director IAN SMITH coming in to run a session with each of our groups. With over 30 years of experience Ian’s reputation is unparalleled within the industry. Amongst many others he has trained OSCAR/BAFTA/GOLDEN GLOBE winners and nominees including VICKY McCLURE, SAMANTHA MORTON and JACK O”CONNELL. Ian will be back!

RAY & LIZ

In 2019 the BFI funded film ‘RAY AND LIZ’, starring 2 of our Dramaworkshop members, headed off to the film festivals and was very excitingly shortlisted for a BAFTA for OUTSTANDING DEBUT BY A WRITER, DIRECTOR or PRODUCER. It was then released for cinema with rave reviews.
