Growing confidence through

Welcome to dramaworkshop

Dramaworkshop is a weekly Stourbridge based drama school for anyone aged 5+. Our aim is to inspire and develop confidence, creativity and imagination. It is a safe and supportive place where people can come to have fun, make friends and learn about the art of performing. Our projects are diverse and exciting covering all mediums of drama enabling our members to gain experience in theatre, television, radio and film.

Although we are not a casting centre, due to dramaworkshop’s contacts within the industry, there are opportunities for auditions and castings in television, theatre, film and radio. We have had members cast in lead roles in BBC’s Line of Duty, Doctors and Channel 4’s Raised By Wolves.

Dramaworkshop gives invaluable training and life skills whatever direction and career path our Workshoppers choose to take. Drama enables people to express themselves articulately, improves self esteem and teaches the importance of teamwork. It gives children, young people and adults a safe, encouraging and creative environment to express themselves and most importantly, have a lot of fun.

Dramaworkshop was established in 2010 by actress, writer and director Esther Stanford who after 10 years of paving the way for so many, handed the baton over to actors and dramworkshop alumni Gregory Piper & Rebecca Fuller.
